Service Description

Experience the heat of the glass furnace and learn how to make a glass flower! Class is for up to 6 people, ages 12 and up. Persons under 18 will need a guardian present. Classes are available on most Fridays and Saturdays with start times ranging from 1pm-6:30pm. Use the form below or email sfgwashburn@gmail.com to request this class and we will get back to you with availability. Once a day/time is finalized, an invoice will be emailed to you to complete payment for the class. Each person will be taken through the steps of making a flower and then using the tools of the hot shop, you will manipulate and pull the glass to the desired shape. Class takes place at the Washburn hot shop (see your confirmation email after booking for location address/details). Items will need to cool, so they can be picked up the next day, at a later date, or shipped for an additional cost. Safety glasses/glasses (extra pairs are available to use at the studio) and closed-toe shoes are required while in the studio, cotton clothing is recommended. Classes are non-refundable (minus a few exceptions). Refer to the Class Policies/FAQ page for more details and please read them prior to booking or attending a class.
